About the data

All parcel facts come from the Volusia County Property Appraiser's public weekly vacant-land extracts, read November 6, 2026: 43,102 parcels. Last-sale prices are as recorded, which includes tax deeds and other non-market sales, so comparisons are a guide and not an appraisal.

The calculator uses state rules: a deposit of 5% of the bid or $200, whichever is greater (s. 197.542, Florida Statutes), documentary stamps of $0.70 per $100, and recording at $10 for the first page and $8.50 for each page after. Owner names and mailing addresses are left out because the tool doesn't need them.
